  • When are you open/closed?
    OPEN: Monday 9am - 7pm For Hair Loss/Hair Care Services CLOSED: Saturdays and Sunday OPEN: Non Federal Holidays (St Patricks, Family Day, etc...) CLOSED: Most Federal Holidays (Christmas, New Years, etc...)
  • What products do you use?
    During regularly scheduled hair appointments we use Innersense, AG Care, MalibuC, Naked by Essations, Kera Kare, Uncle Funky's, and several styling products to conclude particular looks. "The Leaf" are speciality treatments that require consent forms determining allergy before servicing with any of our herbal ingredience. New client appointments are mandatory in order to discuss personalized product knowledge according to your hair type. All allergies are listed for your personal discretion.
  • How should I sleep in my hair?
    Depending on your install your hair should be well kept and mantainanced during sleep. A satin scarf and bonnet are always great solutions. For a twist/braid out a pineapple or satin scrunches are another perfect solution. Regardless, sleeping cute is the best recommendation!
  • What are your shipping/delivery terms?
    All orders are shipped via USPS with receipt confirmation and insurance. It takes approximately 5-7 business days for orders to be delivered after the order processing timeframe for the product in question. Orders will be shipped once payment is confirmed and cleared. International orders typically take approximately 10-12 business days for delivery and shipped via USPS as well, unless otherwise stated by the customer. Mane Affair reserves the right to change the delivery method specified on this website to a comparable method. Shipping charges may be more or less than the actual rate charged by the carrier. All shipping costs must be paid in full at the time of the order.If you have tracked your package and there is a discrepancy in delivery information or it has been lost in transit please contact us immediately at We will contact USPS right away and initiate a trace for your package and have them start an investigation. If it is determined that your shipment has been lost, a replacement will be sent.
  • What is your policy on exchanges & refunds?
    All sales are FINAL and there are no returns allowed due to the nature of our products. Once payment is made, we will not offer a refund under ANY circumstances. We accept exchanges only for products with the same or higher value. Customers are advised to notify us via email within 3 business days of receipt in order to qualify for an exchange. Any exchange request not received within the specific time frame will not qualify for an exchange, The product must be sent back in the original condition as it was when shipped from us, meaning it cannot be combed, washed, brushed, cut, worn or altered in any way. Mane Affair will ship the exchanged product using the same shipping method as the original order unless customer states otherwise. The customer is responsible for all return freights in a product exchange transaction. For your protection, we suggest that all returns be sent back to us through a traceable postal carrier. We are not responsible for lost items in transit. All Sales are Final on clearance and sale items. No exchanges or returns will be accepted. NOTE:DUE TO THE DELICATE NATURE OF LACE CLOSURES, THEY CAN NOT BE EXCHANGED OR REPLACED.
  • Do you offer chemical services?
    At Mane Affair Studio, we do offer an array of services that may include chemical processing like high lift coloring, but above all we believe in chemistry over chemicals. We do the most at not using chemicals and do our best at formulating custom to your hair's grade.
  • Are curly cuts offered?
    Yes, we specialize in naturally textured hair therefore cutting and trimming hair in its tightly curly state is possible.
  • What do I schedule for my appointment?
    If you're a new client, welcome! You will schedule your appointment in the "New Client" tab. Here, you have one option and during your consultation we will discuss your next appointment.
  • What should I expect as at my New Client appointment?
    As a new client we highly value your time and throughness of seeking us as your new hair care providers.   • Can I bring a guest/kids?
    Due to space limitations, please refrain from bringing guests or individuals who do not have a scheduled appointment. Children 10 and under will not be serviced, those 11-16 must be accompanied by an adult. In order not to compromise the experience of the salon, please make sure that your child can calmly remain seated through the duration of the appointment otherwise the appointment will be canceled.
  • Which forms of payment are acceptable?

  • What is the late cancelation/no show policy?
    This is not acceptable. Cancellations within 24hrs or less will be charged 50% of your service fee, and no show will be charged 100%. If the charges do not clear or process there will be a banning on your account and you will not be allowed to schedule any future appointments or until balance is covered in full.
  • Im an existing client but its been longer than a year. What should I schedule?
    Are you an existing client? Its been longer than 365 days? You are officially a new client! If you're an existing client, and you HAVE visited our studio within 365 days you have permission to schedule as an existing client amongst a variety of services.
  • For my sew in, how many bundles should I order?
    Full Install requires apx 300-380g | 3 or more bundles Traditional Installs require 200-300g | 2.5 or less Any length beyond 20inch require 4 bundles. (ex: 18, 20, 22, 22in)
  • Do you disclose information to third-parties?
    We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
  • Why should I purchase extensions from Mane Affair Studio?
    Its important that you purchase your hair from the best vendor according to your preference and budget, but by purchasing from Mane Affair Studio our satisfaction is manditory. Our extensions are unprocessed, 100% human strands allowing bleaching and coloring to be applied. We recommend that you have an experienced stylist color your hair to match the hue most desirable. MAI are natural human hair, you may flat iron, blow-dry or dye hair. We will recommend that you reduce the amount of heat used on the hair to prevent damage. After a wash, we recommend that you air dry your hair. As for your own natural hair, please refer to your stylist the best recommended temperture to set your irons for before heat styling. Does it shed? No, it is not shedding. After the wefting process, there are some loose hairs caught within the "body" of your bundles that are not attached to the weft. This is absolutely NORMAL. As part of the post-weft process, we brush each bundle thoroughly to remove all loose hairs, but it is possible that some loose hairs may still be present. We expect that you will notice a few strands when you brush and when you have your initial wash. The "shedding" should stop immediately after that. You should expect an average of 2-3 strands a day going forward. Please note, some bundles may have considerably more loose hairs than others. These bundles may require several more brush outs and washes before the "shedding" stops.
  • How long will Mane Affair Inches last?
    The longevity of Mane Affair Inches primarily depends on the daily and overall care provided to the your hair. Estimate of 12-24 months.
